Biography
Rose Fagler (Rose Fāy-gler) takes on big, hairy, audacious goals. Builds high-performing teams and gets everyone across the finish line successfully. She stood up and is responsible for economic and business development for Weyerhaeuser’s real estate developments, on the portfolio level. Rose provides vision and market strategy to shape the outcome of master-planned development sites then positions the readied sites to attract investment.
Her background includes strategic market and brand positioning, partner team development, strategic public engagement, branding, advertising and communications, and sales incentives.
Rose currently serves as on the Foundation Board of her alma mater Frostburg State University; the advisory board for the University of West Florida Haas Center; the foundation board for the Cade Museum of Creativity & Invention. She recently served as co-chair for the Florida Economic Development Council leading the Florida 2030 Blueprint implementation; the steering committee for the Florida Chamber’s Trade & Logistics 2030 Study. She served as an advisory board member for the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) Public Issues Education Center – the PIE Center. In 2020, Rose launched the Strong Women Network to provide peer-to-peer mentoring and coaching for women in business leadership roles. In 2024, Rose launched Divine Purpose a disciple making program for women in business.
Rose is a graduate of Frostburg State University and named one of the university’s Distinguished Alumni in 2020-2021. She and her husband Chauncey live in Fernandina Beach, Florida. They have two grown daughters, two sons-in-law and one granddaughter.
