World Languages and Cultures Minor

The World Languages and Cultures Minor will educate students to become communicatively competent citizens with proficiency in foreign language and critical insight into world cultures.


Program Description 

The world Languages and Cultures minor program at UWF is designed to educate students to become communicatively competent citizens with proficiency in foreign languages and critical insight into world cultures. This includes development of speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in the chosen foreign language through the study of language, linguistics, film, literature, and other cultural expressions, expansion of cross-cultural awareness, and development of career-enhancing skills.
