Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (1973) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (1990) are federal mandates enacted to eliminate discrimination of persons with disabilities.
These laws insure that all qualified persons have equal access to employment opportunities and education regardless of disabling conditions. SAR supports these laws by complying with their requirements. Every effort is made to provide equality of educational access and opportunity to qualified students with disabilities by providing reasonable accommodations.
