Mikia serves as the Associate Director of Student Engagement. Her professional passions and research interests include the areas of student retention, diversity and inclusion, mental-health/self-care, first-generation college students, and curriculum and assessment. In Mikia’s spare time, she is writing papers, enjoying time with family and friends, powerlifting, practicing yoga, trying out new recipes, or painting.
