Don't Cancel Class
Need to be away from campus for a conference or just wish to add a guest speaker to your syllabus? Let one of our departments cover class and present to your students on various topics that impact students’ lives. From job search strategies to professional communication etiquette, there are many choices to help students navigate life outside the classroom so they can focus on what’s happening inside the classroom.
Career Development & Community Engagement (CDCE)
CDCE offers multiple presentations on topics including résumé and cover letter development, interviewing skills, experiential learning (internships and cooperative learning) and general CDCE information (types of appointments offered, various technologies available to students and upcoming events).
The Title IX office manages complaints of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and gender-based discrimination. Participants will understand their rights and protections at UWF, explore preventative practices, and learn how to respond to and report incidents which may fall under Title IX.
