Global Online Building

Accessibility Matters

We know accessible course materials and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) are big concerns among faculty moving to online teaching. We have a number of on-demand support resources that can help you! We can also help create accessible content, identify and update course content that is not accessible and identify strategies to help you maintain accessible course design moving forward.

Watch our recent Accessibility Resource Roundup Webinar recording to hear how Student Accessibility Resources, the Center for University Teaching, Learning, and Assessment, and the UWF Library can also assist with accessible course materials.

To request a Global Online Consultation or course accessibility review, please Submit a GOLD Help Support Ticket, Email Global Online, or Contact an Instructional Designer.

Tools Are Important

Now is the time to learn about the tools you need to continue developing online content. We will focus on tools like Panopto, the new Canvas Rich Content Editor, HonorLock, and many more. Join us on Friday, May 15th at 1 PM to learn about all of the online tools in your Instructor Toolkit. We welcome you to share your challenging tasks or assignments. We probably have a tool that can help! Visit our Tool Time Webinar page for more details.

Follow Us To Quality

As you begin developing online courses for Summer or Fall 2020, let us guide you on the path to quality course design. The Designing a Quality Online Course (DQOC) will walk you through a course development (or redevelopment) project from start to finish while modeling online teaching strategies.

Follow along with us for the next 6 weeks as we focus on key concepts covered in the course.
