Financial Aid
The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships helps students with grants, scholarships and loans available to help them complete their UWF degree program.
Start with the FAFSA
Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is the first step toward comprehensive financial aid consideration. All eligible students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA each year they attend UWF, regardless of any anticipated Florida Bright Futures, prepaid plan, military benefits or other tuition coverage.
Completing the FAFSA and verification steps, if needed, allows students to be considered for:
- Financial aid for educational expenses including and beyond tuition, such as supplies and transportation.
- Tuition coverage through our Argo 30 Guarantee (Florida resident classification).
- Scholarships that may require the FAFSA.
UWF's FAFSA code: 003955.
The FAFSA form you will need to complete will depend on the term(s) you attend UWF. For the strongest aid consideration, complete the FAFSA and any verification steps by your term priority date.
