Zeta Psi Eta's philanthropy is breast cancer research, mainly the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Every sister has been affected by breast cancer in some way, whether through a relative, friend, classmate, or co-worker, and we realize the importance of breast cancer awareness. Therefore, sisters participate in numerous fundraisers throughout the year for this cause. Recent fundraisers include the American Cancer Society and Simon Mall's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer", our annual breast cancer cookies sale in October, a chocolate-dipped strawberry sale for Valentine's Day, and the Relay for Life held every spring.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and Zeta has planned a number of activities to promote and raise money for breast cancer research.
Here is a list of the events that are upcoming for that month:

* Monday Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. - Breast Cancer Info and Movie Night in the Conference Lounge
* Wednesday Oct. 3, 10, 17, & 24 at 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Passionately Pink for the Cure Day
* Saturday Oct. 20 (time TBA) - Bowling for a Cure at Liberty Lanes
* Saturday Oct. 27 at 7:30 a.m. - Breast Cancer Walk beginning at the University Mall
