Florida Ready To Work State coordinator, Warren May, will be at the Pensacola Chamber on October 17, 2008 at 11 a.m. and will be hosting a meeting for interested businesses. Members who are interested in hearing more about how the Florida Ready to Work program works are highly encouraged to attend and participate in the meeting. This program is a new and innovative employee credentialing program. Learn how the program works and how it can help you recruit and hire good employees who have the skills needed in the job market. Ford PAS Meeting The University of West Florida and the Next Generation Learning Community (NGLC) of Northwest Florida sponsored a meeting on October 8, 2008, between the Ford Partnership for Advanced Studies (Ford PAS) Team and representatives from business, the school districts, and higher education to discuss implementation of the Ford PAS curriculum in our local school districts and the possibility of designating UWF as a Ford PAS Training and Resource Center.
