2008 Workforce Conference
Dr. Chris Cavanaugh has been a driving force in forging multiple connections between UWF and the Northwest Florida community. Unfortunately, we have to say 'Goodbye' to Chris, since her husband, John Cavanaugh, resigned his post as President of UWF to become Chancellor of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. We will miss Chris's vision, energy, and dedication to workforce development.
Nathan Ford, Assistant Director of Employer Development in Career Services, has worked closely with Chris and is deeply involved in building relationships between UWF and employers in the community. Additionally, he meets one-on-one with students, engaging them within their job search process, and presents on career-related topics such as resume writing and interviewing skills.
