The 2008 Workforce Conference—Possibilities Through Partnerships—was held August 15, 2008, in the UWF Conference Center. Building on the success of the 2007 conference, this year's conference was bigger and better, with three breakout sessions to allow participants more opportunities to focus on information of interest.
In addition, participants were treated to a continental breakfast and gourmet lunch and received a packet of informative materials and Live First, Work Second, the insightful new book by Rebecca Ryan on understanding the next generation of workers and what happens when generations collide.
Sponsors for the 2008 conference were the University of West Florida, the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, Workforce Escarosa, Pensacola Junior College, Lakeview Center, Santa Rosa County District Schools, Troy University, AccuStaff, and The School District of Escambia County.
