The University of West Florida’s official colors are blue (Web 003399) and green (Web 006633). The blue of the sky and the green of the sea have been associated with the university since its establishment in 1963.
An essential component of university branding, color plays an important role in maintaining a consistent look throughout all UWF Web pages. It is crucial that no matter where a Web user falls on the university Web site, he/she is reinforced with colors that reflect the UWF brand and identity. For this reason, the UWF Web template system includes three color palette options for Web developers to choose from.
