Clicking on the link in the download instructions document takes you to Office Mate, as illustrated in the following screen.
Clicking on the "SoftServ" link takes you to the SoftServ page illustrated below.
Click on the radio button to the left of the WS_FTP LE option, then on "Continue" to proceed.
You arrive at the Nautical/Compass Intranet page that prompts you for your student number and PIN. Don't know your PIN? Now is the time to determine what it is. Click on the "PIN" link for help.
SoftServ verifies that you want to download the WS_FTP software, so click the "Continue" button to proceed.
Now that Nautical knows who you are and has verified that you want to download WS_FTP, you will be granted permission to download the software. You must scroll down through the "legal stuff" to the bottom of the page. Next, click on the "Agree" button. This basically provides UWF and Ipswitch, Inc. with legal cover in case you decide to become an unauthorized distributor of the software or lose valuable stuff while using it. Basically, you agree that UWF and Ipswitch are responsible for nothing, that the software is offered where is, as is, with no warranties expressed or implied (kinda like buying a used car!).

Now return to the UWF instructions and complete steps 8 and 9. You will then be ready to use the WS_FTP software. Specific instructions for how to use the WS_FTP software can be found on the second and third page of the UWF instructions document. It is very easy to use this program if you follow the instructions carefully.
