Export the data from the Orders table into a spreadsheet. Use the Access Help to learn how to do this. You want to EXPORT data to an Excel 97-2000 (*.xls) spreadsheet.
Next, determine the Retail Net Amt (this is the net sales amount for each retail sales transaction) for Arizona by Category. Develop a bar graph that represents the total retail sales by category for Arizona.
You will probably have to use "brute force" to segregate the data. However, this problem can easily be solved using a "Pivot Table." A little research may save you a lot of time. You decide.
Save the spreadsheet using the usual file naming convention: FirstNameLastNameProj3.xls
E-mail your spreadsheet to me as an attachment.
Just to make my life a bit easier, here are the totals for which you are striving. You have to demonstrate how you arrived at these totals, either using the pivot table (quick and easy) or by brute force (slow and hard).
