To avoid overpayment of benefits, students must report any change in credit hours (drop/add), withdrawal, or termination of attendance to the UWF Veterans Services Office.
All overpayments must be repaid to the DVA. Interest and administrative fees may be assessed and added to the original amount of the debt.
Failure to repay any overpayment will result in an adverse credit rating. Debt collection may also be turned over to the IRS or a collection agency.
