CFPACenter for Fine and Performing Arts
Housing the School of Fine and Performing Arts, which includes programs in theatre,
music and art, the CFPA (Building 82) is a cultural hub for both the campus and
local communities. The university’s Mainstage Theatre, Music Hall and Art
Gallery are located in this unique facility. Boasting upwards of 50 theatrical
productions, art gallery shows and musical offerings each year, the majority
of the center’s offerings are free to the public, and UWF students are

Computer Labs
UWF's largest open-access student computer lab is located in Building 79
and houses approximately 120 computer workstations. The lab is open 24-hours
a day, seven days a week and provides black and white printing from any
computer, four ADA accessible computer stations, technician support, scanners
and home and Web drives. Student computer labs are also available in the
University Commons Cyber Lounge, College of Arts and Sciences, College of

Dining Facilities
UWF offers an array of on-campus dining options for students, faculty,
staff and visitors. The Nautilus Market in the University Commons features
Sandwich Central, Zona Mexicana, Bamboo Asian Cuisine, Player’s Grill,
Chef’s Table and a salad bar. Other campus dining venues include Starbuck’s
in the John C. Pace Library; Wackadoo’s Grub and Brew, Quizno’s
Subs and Mamma Leone’s Pizza in the University Commons; Sub Generation
in the College of Professional Studies; and Terra Juice in the Health, Leisure

HLS
Facility Health, Leisure and Sports Facility
At 108,000 square-feet, the Health, Leisure and Sports (HLS) Facility is
the biggest single facility on campus. Primary features of the facility
include Recreation and Sports Services and Division of Health, Leisure
and Exercise Science offices, four classrooms, biomechanics and motor
skills labs, a 10,000 square-foot fitness center, racquetball courts, a
38-foot climbing wall, an indoor running track (1/8 mile), a specially designed
pedagogy gym, teaching gym and three recreation sports courts. For more

International Center and Japan House
Opened in 2004, the UWF International Center and Japan House offer state-of-the-art
amenities and classrooms for international education programs and cultural
events. Features of the complex include international education classrooms,
an authentic tatami room and a Japanese tea room. The Japan House provides
educational space for Japanese language and culture; display space for
Japanese artifacts and art; a site for demonstrating Japanese culture
and traditions; a meeting place to further friendships among those who
appreciate and enjoy diverse cultures; and a social center for the community

John
C. Pace Library John C. Pace Library
The UWF John C. Pace Library serves students at its main campus in Pensacola
and its branch campus in Fort Walton Beach. Housing more than 628,000
volumes, 1 million microforms, 3,000 serial subscriptions and nearly
2,000 online journal subscriptions, the library is also designated as
a regional depository for publications of the United States government
and the state of Florida. The library features a Starbuck’s, and wireless

Residence Halls and Village Apartments
UWF's several residence halls include Southside Villages Residence Halls
in the heart of campus, Argo, Pace and Martin Residence Halls and the University
Village Student Apartments. All residence halls offer double-occupancy rooms
with private bathroom facilities, furnishings for each resident student,
including a twin bed, desk, dresser, micro-fridge unit, paid utilities,
cable television, local phone service and high speed or wireless Internet
connections. Each building offers coin-operated laundry facilities, study
rooms and television lounges/courtyards. University Village Student Apartments
are available in two styles - two or four students per apartment, each with
individual bedroom, which includes a bed, desk, desk chair, drawers and
closet. The apartments have kitchens with a range/oven and refrigerator/freezer.

Commons University Commons
A central gathering place for the campus community, the University Commons,
Building 22, houses the UWF Bookstore, Post Office, Cyber Lounge, dining
hall and Wackadoo’s Grub and Brew. The Commons also houses special
events facilities and services, which are not only available to students,
faculty and staff, but also to local community businesses and residents.

Wireless Classrooms and Locations
ArgoAir is UWF's on-campus wireless network. Through this service, UWF
students, faculty, staff and sponsored guests may access the Internet
from any of the specified locations using a laptop or desktop computer,
tablet PC or Pocket PC with a wireless network adapter installed.
