There are two main types of AIS membership: institutional membership and organizational membership.
Institutional Membership allows a UWF student to become a member of UWF's local AIS chapter. Fees are minimal and can be paid for in half year payments of $25. Membership fees are solely used to support the meetings, like providing food and drinks.

The international AIS organizational membership allows a student to be recognized as an AIS professional. This membership can be thought of as an additional level of membership. The common one year student membership is $125.
