The University of West Florida Student Support Services Program is a federally funded TRiO Program which provides academic support for eligible university students. The support services include: developmental advising, tutoring, mentoring, career planning, financial aid, cultural and social activities, CLAST and GRE test preparation, and motivational workshops. The program serves 250 low income, first generation college students (students whose parents or guardian have not completed a bachelor's degree), and students with disabilities. The mission of the Student Support Services Program is the retention and graduation of program participants.
