Student Support Service at the University of West Florida is a federally funded TRiO program designed to provide intrusive and developmental academic advising, personal counseling, tutoring,mentoring, leadership skills and other support services intended to increase the retention and graduation rates of the students whose aspirations, participation, and achievement of post secondary academic goals may be limited for first generation, low-income and disabled students.
