Mission: The Department of Student Transition Programs facilitates comprehensive programs and services which help students successfully experience appropriate learning and developmental outcomes associated with the University of West Florida.
New Student Orientation is a dynamic, engaging experience that is designed to prepare incoming students for their transition to the University of West Florida. New Student Orientation consists of both freshmen and transfer sessions. |
The Office of Family Programs strives to develop relationships and provide support to families throughout their students' college experience. |
Argo Camp is an optional three-day, two-night retreat that provides first-time in college students the opportunity to have fun and make connections before beginning classes at UWF. |
Argo Link is an incentive-based program designed to help first-time in college students adjust to UWF. The main focus of Argo Link is to get new Argonauts out having fun, meeting people and getting connected to UWF by attending campus events. |
Delphi is the first-year experience living-learning community which is housed in Martin Hall. The goal of Delphi is to assist students in their transition to the university and to bind learning in the classroom to the students’ living environment. |
