Sam Osheroff holds a BA from Bates College and an MFA in acting from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training. A member of Actors Equity, Sam has worked in performance venues all over the country and abroad. He has performed at the Asolo Rep, Pioneer Playhouse, Peterborough Players, The Weston Playhouse, The Banyan Theatre and many venues in and around New York City. Sam has also toured Argentina and Brazil with the world renowned Bread and Puppet Theatre. He has appeared on Law and Order and as a voice over artist in several radio ads. Favorite roles include Stanley in Broadway Bound (winner of the Sarasota Herald Tribune Handleman Award for best supporting actor 2005), Tom in Fat Pig and Jamie in The Last 5 Years which he has performed twice with his wife Kris Danford. Sam has taught the Meisner method, improv, voice, movement and script analysis at the New York Film Academy and Talent Ventures International in New York City and is a private coach to professional and aspiring New York actors. As a communications and presentations coach Sam has trained executives at many major financial institutions including Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan Chase, and Barclay’s Capital. |
