Phillip joined the Theatre Department at the University of West Florida as Technical Director in the fall of 2011. He is responsible for running the Departments Scene Shop and teaching Technical Theatre. Phillip holds his Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre Technical Direction from the University of Missouri Kansas City and his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatre from Kent State University in Ohio. He was previously the Technical Director at Washington & Lee University in Virginia. Recent Technical Direction credits include: Assassins, Feeding on Mulberry Leaves, Chicago, Where We’re Born, The Secret Garden, The Heidi Chronicles, Goodnite Children Everywhere, InSPITE of Thunder: The Macbeth Project, 12th Night, Boesman & Lena, Honk!
