The Center for Fine and Performing Arts
The Center for Fine and Peforming Arts is the home of the Theatre, Music, and Art Departments for the University of West Florida. The CFPA is composed of an art gallery, the Mainstage Theatre, Music Hall, and Lobby. Also contained within the center are a Multi-Use Black Box Theatre, Costume Shop, and Scene Shop.
The Mainstage Theatre
A wonderful 450 seat Proscenium Theatre equipped with a fly rail system, creative apron entrances, and full orchestra pit. The Mainstage is used for Theatre productions, the Annual Gala in the fall, as well as for numerous music performances.
Studio Theatre

The Studio Theatre is a 200 Seat Multi-functional Black Box, which is used as a classroom and performance facility, with a full lighting grid, booth, and flexible seating.
The Outdoor Amphitheater
Our outdoor Amphitheater is attached to the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts. The Amphitheater is a large stone stage with white brick backdrop, and a raked grass audience seating area. Perfect for outdoors productions and small student shows.
The Costume Shop
A fully functional Costume Creation Center. The shop is fully equipped with over a dozen sewing machines, sergers, industrial sewing machines, industrial irons, washers, dryers, and a large mirrored fitting room.
Costume Stock
The Costume Department at UWF is dedicated to building costumes for all UWF productions and with that comes growing costume storage. From fabrics, to period gowns and menswear the costume stock is constantly growing and remains a large asset to the department.

The Scene Shop |

The Scenic Department at UWF is well equipped to service both venues within the UWF Center for the Fine and Performing Arts. Under the direction of Technical Director Steve Grair, the scene shop is able to create large and small-scale scenery, props and furniture.
Also part of the Scene Shop is a Wonderful Drafting Area.
