UWF's new building for the School of Science and Engineering was completed for the Spring semester of 2010. Dr. Laura J. White gathered her students to share UWF with the world. This time, a team of 12 undergraduates in computer science and software engineering were assigned the task to make the new building available on the World Wide Web. In 2008, a team of graduate Software Engineering students decided to document the construction of the new School of Science and Engineering building for their capstone project. The students were Charles Carnley, Patrick Cash, and Jesse Jerrel. Again, with the guidance of the Software Engineering program director, Dr. White, the team placed a camera on a utility post adjacent to the construction site where a photo was captured every 15 minutes for over 2 years! Aside from a couple of lightning strikes and power outages, we have compiled video over 20 minutes long of the construction of our brand new SSE building, available for viewing by clicking here or on the image above.
