If an advisor authorizes a substitution or waiver, a programming change is completed by the department. This change results in the substituted course appearing in place of the required course. The substitution will also be listed in this section. If a course is waived, the waived course, with a pseudo-grade of 'CW,' will appear in place of the required course. The waiver will also be noted in this section. Several 'macro' equivalencies have been approved by the chair of the department offering equivalent UWF courses. These equivalencies automatically convert the original course to the UWF equivalent. The equivalency is identified in this section of the audit.
