Many programs do not identify 60 hours of specific courses required for graduation. If this is the case, students are free to choose courses from other offerings at the University. A minimum of 48 hours of 3000/4000 level courses are required for graduation. However, if a specific degree program requires more than 48 hours of 3000/4000 level courses, this program requirement must be met. Additionally, a minimum of 120 semester hours must be earned. (Some programs such as Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Fine Arts, etc. require more than 120 hours. The additional hour requirement is indicated on the SASS audit.) Students seeking a second bachelor's degree are required to complete at least an additional 30 semester hours and have a bannered SASS audit for the second degree. See the Catalog for additional information concerning second degrees.
