Description: This online course serves as an introduction to health information technology. This course provides a basic overview of computer architecture; data organization, representation and structure; and the fundamentals of data communication. This course also covers a large breadth of terminology used in the computer industry. For those of you who have not taken BSC 4434/5459 Bioinformatics and/or the elective, for the Spring 2013 semester, HSA4990/5990 can replace BSC 4434/5459 Bioinformatics or it can be your elective course. |
