A certificate in Health Care Ethics consists of four (4) courses that may be taken as a non-degree seeking or degree-seeking student, or as a continuing education student. All area health care practitioners or students of health care are encouraged to enroll and may enter at any time. The focus of this certificate is on critical ethical issues facing health care providers, patients, and their families.
The Certificate consists of four related courses that deal with currently important issues in health care ethics:
Graduate students in the Master's program in Health Education within the Aging Studies specialization and in the Certificate Program in Aging Studies are now required to take the course HSC 5602 Life, Illness, and Death.
