Full-time university employees who are not covered by a bargaining unit and those employees who are covered by a bargaining unit that negotiated this benefit with the university are permitted up to six credit hours of course work at UWF per term (fall, spring, summer) without payment of tuition or mandatory fees. |

Alabama students will be extended In-State Tuition + a fixed dollar amount per credit hour which represents a significant discount from out-of-State tuition and is actually lower than in-state tuition charged by some states. |
| Sample Pricing for Online Courses and Certificate Programs |
For online courses, select either the “Online Campus Courses” or “Online Campus Courses with Out-of-State Fee Waiver” link on the UWF Tuition and Fees page. In terms of cost in Fall 2008, the total tuition for each online, academic course was ~$400-$900 (i.e. FL residents paid ~$400-$800/course, continuing eduation students paid ~$550/course, and international/out-of-state students paid ~$400-$900/course). The total cost of online, certificate program will depend on the number of courses in the program and your enrollment status. |
| Out of State Tuition Waivers |
Many online programs in SAHLS are eligible for Out-of-State Tuition Fee Waiver. International/out-of-state students must apply for the waiver during each semester of enrollment to receive that rate. |
