The University of West Florida's School of Allied Health and Life Sciences offers both graduate and undergraduate health-related programs for which there is a strong demand both regionally and nationally.
Within SAHLS, you will find the departments of Nursing, Clinical Laboratory Sciences and Biology with its preprofessional programs as well as programs in microbiology and molecular biology. All of these programs enrich the allied health field opportunities students will find at UWF.
Classes are offered at non-traditional times and online courses are emphasized in a variety of programs within the school to accommodate students currently employed in health care and public health settings. Where appropriate, classes are held on-site in health care settings or at the UWF educational facility located on the grounds of the Sacred Heart Health System in Pensacola.
