Dr. Kim M. LeDuff is Chief Diversity Officer/Associate Vice Provost for Equity, Diversity & International Programs. She holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communication with a concentration in communication and culture from Indiana University, an M.A. from the University of Maryland-College Park and a B.A. from Xavier University of Louisiana. Prior to coming to UWF in Fall 2013, she was an Associate Professor and Associate Director of the School of Mass Communication and Journalism at The University of Southern Mississippi and also taught at Hampton University and her alma mater, Xavier University of Louisiana. While at USM, Dr. LeDuff was honored by the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning as Diversity Educator of the year in 2012. She authored Tales of Two Cities: How Race and Crime Intersect on Local TV News and is co-author of Race and News: Critical Perspectives. She is a member of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education.
