UWF - Office of the Registrar - Degree Verification

In order to provide a more efficient and cost-effective process for degree verification and confirmation of past attendance, the University of West Florida has contracted with Credentials, Inc. to assist us in handling all of our degree verification and past attendance confirmations.

Degree verifications and past attendance confirmations may be requested in the following manner:

Outside Agencies (i.e. Employers or Educational Institutions)
All official verifications or third party requests must contact Credentials, Inc. Internet service is available 24 hours a day at www.degreechk.com OR you may telephone 1-800-646-1858. Operators are available from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. CST, Monday through Thursday and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST.

Students
Students can access degree and attendance information through ARGUS (current students) or LightHouse (previous students). If official verification is needed for a third party, it is recommended that students order a transcript or contact Credentials, Inc.

NOTES

The following information will be needed to process your request:

1. Requestor's name, company name, address, and phone number

2. Full name of student, including previous name, if applicable

3. Social security number and/or date of birth of student

There is a charge for this service.

Credentials, Inc. is considered our primary source provider for verification of degrees and confirmation of attendance of graduates. Degree Verification and Past Attendance will no longer be provided directly by the Registrar’s Office.
