Senior citizens must submit a Senior Citizen Tuition Fee Waiver form and are subject to all academic policies and procedures as stated in the UWF Academic Catalog. This program may not be used for thesis, dissertation, practicum, internship, directed independent study, music or theatre performance, continuing education, and non-credit courses or other one-on-one course situations.
Senior citizen tuition fee waiver students must qualify as a Florida resident prior to registration.
Senior citizens eligible for the waiver must be sixty (60) years old or older.
A participating senior citizen tuition fee waiver student must be admitted to the University as a non-degree seeking student.
Enrollment is on a space-available basis only. Under this tuition fee waiver program, courses will be audited and no academic credit shall be awarded.
After course registration (during the drop/add period), forward the completed form to the Registrar's Office.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: It is critical to confirm the dates senior citizens can register using the senior citizen waiver benefit. If you register
prior to the designated senior citizen waiver registration period you will assume all financial liability for any courses you register for. Please read all information regarding senior citizen tuition fee waiver policies and procedures before proceeding.
