Each semester, Group Fitness provides
a variety of incentive programs designed to keep participants motivated
while continuing their
journey to a healthier lifestyle. Great prizes are rewarded to the
leading participants in each incentive program. All programs are
completely FREE! Just show up to any Group
Fitness
class and
the instructor
will provide further details on how to participate in each of the following: |

Fit
5-0
Purpose
Increase participation in Group Fitness Classes while improving participants'
overall cardiovascular and muscular health.
Program
Guidelines
- Each Participant will
have their choice of which Group Fitness classes to attend
- Participants must attend
50 group fitness classes in the designated semester (consisting of 15 weeks
of Group Fitness Classes).
- At each class the
participant attends, they will be given a 5-0 pass by the instructor. They
must print their full-name and email address on the back of the pass, and
drop it in the box in the group fitness studio.
- Participants will
receive update emails weekly throughout the semester to alert them of how
many classes they have currently attended.
- On the last day of
Group Fitness classes, Fit 5-0 will end. The following week, participants
will be emailed the list of winners.
- Each participant who
attends 50 classes will receive a Fitness Prize Pack, which includes
fitness
wear, fitness equipment, and other prizes. Prizes can be picked up at
fitness/wellness
graduate assistant’s office, which is located in the upper fitness
center (Rm 291).
- The two participants
who attend the most classes in the designated semester will each receive
a First Class Fitness Prize Pack.
Note:
participants who arrive late for class will not be given a 5-0 pass. Tardiness
is determined by the instructor.

program is for YOU! Avoid the Freshmen 15 epidemic before it reaches
you by taking advantage of our FREE Group Fitness Classes. Here's how
to participate:

to 15 Group Fitness Classes
- Receive
a stamp for each class
- Place
completed card in “Freshmen 15” box located in the Blue
Studio
- WIN
a FREE t-shirt and fitness assessment for completion

to Winter Break: Passport to Fitness

HOW
TO PARTICIPATE?
- Receive
a passport after attending any UWF Group Fitness Class
- Complete
your passport by attending 2 classes in each of the 6 categories during
the weeks before Winter Break
- Instructors
will stamp your passport after each class
- Complete
12 classes and WIN a FREE t-shirt and prize pack
- Complete
10 classes and WIN a FREE t-shirt
- Drop
your completed passport in the “Passport to Fitness” box
located in Blue Studio

Monday,

HOW
TO PARTICIPATE?

a Map of The USA after attending a UWF Cycle Class
- Complete
your Map by attending 10 cycle classes and pedaling from Pensacola to Los
Angeles
- Instructors
will get you a sticker after each class to put on your Map
- Complete

TO PARTICIPATE?
- Instead
of attending the regularly scheduled Yoga class this specialty class takes
place outdoors
- The
Instructor will lead a hike on campus and stop in a scenic location and
to lead the Yoga class
- Bring:
Towel (or yoga mat- may get dirty) and water bottle
