2. describe advantages and limitations of major theoretical perspectives;

3. demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the most important aspects of biological psychology;

4. interpret behavior and mental processes at an appropriate level of complexity;

5. use the concepts, language, and major theories in biological psychology to account for psychological phenomena;

6. describe behavior and mental processes empirically, including operational definitions;

7. use theories to explain and predict behavior and mental processes;

8. describe and explain different research methods used by biological psychologists;

9. apply those psychological principles to professional, personal, social, and organizational issues, where applicable.
