The process of selecting an interim provost is moving along as scheduled. The Registry has identified three candidates for the interim position, and they will be here at UWF on Tuesday, Nov. 29. Their resumes and schedules are available on my website, as well as details regarding the process, at http://uwf.edu/president/interimprovost.cfm.

Because this is an interim appointment, the interview schedule is not as extensive as a search for a provost requires. However, we will host open forums which will serve as an opportunity for the campus community to meet the candidates. As a reminder, the interim provost will begin service at the beginning of the spring semester. We will conduct a national search for the provost position, and the interim will not be eligible to apply. Thank you for your continued support during this important transition.
