I wanted to let you know that the Florida Board of Governors concluded its meeting on campus yesterday, and I would like to thank everyone who helped roll out the red carpet for our distinguished guests.

They were all very pleased with our warm hospitality and beautiful campus. As part of their actions, the Governors confirmed my appointment as president of UWF. I want to let you know it is the highest honor of my life. I am privileged to be here with all of you, and I look forward to many great accomplishments ahead. We have much to do together!

You may recall I mentioned several forthcoming reports in my "Welcome Back to Spring" message just two weeks ago. The reports are now available on my website at http://www.uwf.edu/president/reports/.
