The budget assessment is now available online. It is located on the budget Web site at http://uwf.edu/president/budget/.

The results of the study show that UWF has a solid financial position. We have taken significant cuts, but we have prepared to the best of our ability to buffer ourselves. As you will see from the report, our funds are very decentralized throughout the university. This means that everyone has a responsibility and a voice in the decisions that we make regarding budgeting.

I will hold a Town Hall Meeting April 6 at 9 a.m. in the University Commons Auditorium to answer questions about the assessment and the current budget situation. I invite you to send questions in advance to presidentsoffice@uwf.edu.

The budget Web site has also been updated to reflect the latest information coming from Tallahassee. I invite you to review the information, and I look forward to seeing you at the Town Hall Meeting on Monday.
