The Department of Biology is dedicated to providing every opportunity for our pre-professional students to realize their goal for admission to professional school in the medical sciences. Available data show that students majoring in the biological sciences make up close to half of all students admitted to medical schools. Please visit the Pre-professional page in Biology for more information. Also check out our flyer for all of the opportunities available to our students.
Degree plans can be tailored for students who are ready for Calculus. An alternate degree plan is Clinical laboratory Sciences degree, plus Calculus and Physics I and II. Work with your advisor to maximize success.
