The Department of Plant Operations and Maintenance is State funded for those services related to keeping a space functioning as originally intended for operations, maintenance, and repair of the University’s Education and General (E and G) facilities and is non-chargeable. This service includes emergency, preventive, corrective, and recurring work required to keep buildings, utility systems, and grounds in a safe and acceptable operating condition. This maintenance work is required to offset the effects of normal “wear and tear.” All other work is charged to the department requesting the work.
