The Speech/Language Pathology (SLP) Master’s Degree Support Program provides financial assistance
for participants to earn a master’s degree in speech/language pathology. The program provides tuition
support to program participants who are willing to work in Florida’s public schools with students who
have communication disorders.
Admissions Criteria
In order to be accepted into the SLP Master’s Degree Support Program, the applicant must meet the
following criteria:
-- Hold a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent hours with a major in the field (i.e., Communication
Sciences & Disorders or Speech & Hearing Science)
-- Enrolled in a speech/language pathology master’s degree program
-- Recommended by a Department of Communication faculty advisor
-- Recommended by a current school or district administrator (if applicable)
-- Earned a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the major or 1000 on the GRE
-- Submit a completed application by the deadline
