Family as Faculty is sponsored by UWF/Professional Development Partnership. Our mission is to increase the number of highly qualified teachers and related services personnel for individuals with disabilities, birth through age 21, in northeast Florida. The partnership includes eight school districts (Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Bay, Gulf, Washington, and Holmes), regional institutions of higher education, parents, Early Steps programs, and related school and community stakeholders.

This project is funded by the State of Florida, Department of Education, Bureau of Exceptional Education Student Services, through federal assistance under the IDEA, Part D, Individuals with Disabilities Act of 2004 (IDEA) Subpart Sections 651-656, CFDA #84.323A.
