Apply to Present at the UWF Student Scholars Symposium and Faculty Research Showcase
The Student Symposium & Faculty Research Showcase is on Thursday, April 18, 2024. Applications to present at the Symposium are available until March 18, 2024. All UWF undergraduates, graduates, recent graduates, adjuncts, and faculty members are welcome to apply and share their scholarly and creative works. To learn more about the event and to submit your application, visit the Symposium page at https://bit.ly/UWFSymposium, review the UWF Symposium 101 document, or contact the Office of Undergraduate Research.
Faculty: please consider getting involved in this wonderful event -- review this guide to learn about some ways you can get involved, but we are always interested in hearing your ideas.
Transcript Notation Application Extended to March 22, 2024
For those graduating in spring 2024, you still have time to submit your OUR Transcript Notation application. The application deadline has been extended to March 22.
Remember that your UWF Symposium presentation can be used for the application's required "Dissemination of Research Results" section. Within the Dissemination of Research Results section, note that you have submitted your abstract for the 2024 UWF Symposium. Your mentor can endorse the application based on your pending presentation. So long as your application meets all other criteria, it will receive preliminary approval until after your April 18 presentation.

OUR Travel Awards Closed for 2023-34 Academic Year
Congratulations to the 70 Argos that received an OUR Travel Award to present their research and scholarly work at a professional or academic conference! We are so impressed by all of your hard work. Unfortunately, OUR is no longer accepting Travel Award Applications for the rest of the spring 2024 semester. Travel award applications are anticipated to reopen in the fall of 2024.
