Any student coming to the University that meets Freshman criteria must attend New Student Orientation. When an individual registers for a session he or she agrees to the following:

For those starting in the fall semester

1. Attend the full two-day session from start to finish (check-in to check-out)
2. Stay in the residence hall the night between day one and day two
3. Adhere to The University of West Florida Student Code of Conduct
4. Consumption of alcohol is not allowed from check-in to check-out
5. Visitation allowed only in common areas after 12:00am

For those starting in the summer of spring Semester

1. Attend the full one-day session from start to finish
2. Meet with an Academic Advisor
3. Register for Orientation
