Welcome New Argos! Thank you for visiting the New Student Orientation Homepage. New Student Orientation was created to provide a dynamic engaging experience for all incoming students and families of the University of West Florida (UWF). The program was designed to foster an overall understanding of UWF and college resulting in a connection with the university. New Student Orientation is MANDATORY for all undergraduate and transfer students.

New Student Orientation is coordinated through the Office of Student Transition Programs. The Student Transition Programs staff, student orientation leaders, and university partners prepare throughout the year to provide the best and most informative program possible for all incoming Argos and their families. During your session you will learn about what is expected of you as a student, the transitions families may face, the traditions of UWF, and meet faculty and staff who will assist you in your college career. Orientation is also a time for you to meet current and future students and families just like yourselves.

HELPFUL TIP: Please be sure to read through the entire site before registering for Orientation. We guarantee you will gain a better understanding of the requirements and feel better prepared for Orientation and the transition to UWF.
