The Office of Informal Dispute Resolution Personnel:

• Listen in an active and supportive manner
• Help reframe issues and develop options
• Facilitate discussion and provide mediation services
• Provide information and referral services
• Recommend helpful resources
• Facilitate interpersonal and organizational communications
• Provide consultation services for addressing and managing disputes and or conflicts
• Make recommendations for policy and process changes
