Early Payroll Processing - Thanksgiving Holidays
Due to the Thanksgiving holidays observed on Thursday, November 26, 2009 and Friday, November 27, 2009 online time sheets and leave reports for the November15, 2009 to November 28, 2009 pay period should be submitted electronically by 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2009 and approved by 10 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2009.
Personnel Action Forms for the Novembrer 15, 2009 to November 28, 2009 pay period are due in Human Resources by Friday, November 20, 2009.

Annual Leave Rollover
Maximum rollover for annual leave accruing (except Executive Service) employees is 352 hours. All annual leave hours over 352 hours will be converted to sick leave effective January 1, 2010.

Annual Performace Evaluations for University Work Force Employees
The annual performance evaluation process is a method through which supervisors provide employees with feedback on their performance. An annual performance evaluation is completed on each University Work Force employee that you supervise. The evaluation period is January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009. The deadline for submitting completed evaluations is Monday, February 1, 2010.

Signature Routing for Action Sheets
To expedite action sheet processing, please ensure all action sheets are routed to the correct department before sending to Human Resources. If a signature is missing when the action sheet arrives, it is forwarded to the appropriate department for signature or to the originating department.

New I-9
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services have issued a new I-9 form. Departments may download the form from the Human Resources web site. Included with the form are “Tips on Form I-9 Completion.” We encourage you to please read through these tips prior to completing and/or certifying a Form I-9.

New Direct Deposit Option for Students
Student employees now have the option of depositing their paychecks to their Higher One card account. To sign up, students sign on to their Higher One account online and print the statement page which shows their routing and account number.
