Employees transferring to the University of West Florida from another State of Florida agency (including Florida Public Universities) are subject to the following guidelines.

Insurance

• Contact the Human Resources' Benefits Office to complete paperwork to transfer your participation in the state insurance programs to the University of West Florida. The transfer of benefits does not happen automatically.

Retirement

• Work Force and USPS: Complete a Retirement Plan Choice Form. Submit the form to the Benefits Office.
• Work Force Exempt and Faculty: Complete an ORP-16 Form. Submit the form to the Benefits Office.
