The executive branch consists of the Student Body President, the Student Body Vice-President, and the President's Cabinet.


ethan friedland

Student Body President

Ethan Friedland was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and was raised in Gulf Breeze, Florida. He is currently a junior seeking a B.A. in Political Science. After UWF, he plans to attend Stanford Law School and hopes to eventually become a Congressman. He strongly supports "Empowering Students, Encouraging Success".

devonte wilson

Student Body Vice President

Devonte Wilson has experience as a former Senator and worked in the Student Outreach Committee. Other campus involvement includes President of the Beta Beta Phi Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., Vice President of the African American Association, and a Resident Assistant with Housing and Residence Life. He knows that in a time of transition for the university, stability in leadership is vital. Devonte strongly supports "Empowering Students, Encouraging Success".

Chief of Staff

Carlos Sosa moved to Pensacola in July 2013 with his wife and two pets. He has an A.A. in Chemistry from Sante Fe College and enjoys scuba diving, camping, and sightseeing when not in the office. For his second term as Chief of Staff, Carlos plans to bring new innovations to UWF through the Legacy Party platform.

Director of Communications

Allyse Rolle-Polk is originally from Houston, Texas but grew up in the Sunshine State. She is a Student Government veteran having been a part of UWF SGA since her freshman year. She is currently a junior seeking a Public Relations degree with a minor in Hospitality, Recreation, and Resort Management. She hopes to earn a Master's degree from the University of Washington upon graduating from UWF. Go Argos!

Director of Student Life

Tyler Kieffer was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He is currently a senior seeking a dual B.A. in Athletic Training and Exercise Science. After UWF, he plans to attend Duke University to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and hopes to eventually become a Physical Therapist for a professional sports franchise.
