Summer Hour Requirement

screen shot of summer hour requirement on sass audit

Undergraduate students entering a Florida public university with less than 60 semester hours of credit must earn at least nine semester hours prior to graduation by attending one or more summer sessions at one of the State universities. (Hours earned at state or community colleges will not meet this requirement.)

This requirement is automatically waived for those students who entered one of the State universities with more than 60 semester hours.

In this example, the student has completed three semester hours of this requirement. Specific courses are not listed.

For more information about the summer requirement see the academic catalog.
